Retire Early with Dividends ("REWD," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

  • Account information — Email address, name, and profile picture provided through Google sign-in or magic link authentication.
  • Financial data — Portfolio holdings, dividend income, account balances, and transaction history synced from your brokerage via SnapTrade. This data is stored to provide portfolio tracking and analysis features.
  • Usage data — We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our site. Umami does not collect personally identifiable information, does not use cookies, and does not track users across websites.
  • Billing data — Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details. We retain your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Session cookies — We use a single HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the service, including portfolio tracking and brokerage sync
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe
  • To send transactional emails (sign-in links, account notifications) via Resend
  • To improve the service based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • SnapTrade — Brokerage account connection and data synchronization
  • Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
  • Google — OAuth authentication
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery
  • Umami — Privacy-focused website analytics (no PII collected)

Data Storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers, D1 database, and Pages). All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us via email and we will process your request within 30 days.

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Export — Request an export of your portfolio and financial data
  • Opt-out of analytics — Decline optional analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner

Children's Privacy

REWD is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of any future sale of personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
