What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, like your sign-in status and preferences, to make your next visit easier.

Cookies We Use

Session Cookie

  • Type: Essential
  • HttpOnly: Yes
  • Duration: 30 days
  • Purpose: Keeps you signed into your account

Cookie Consent Preference

  • Type: Essential
  • Storage: localStorage
  • Purpose: Remembers your cookie consent choice so we don't ask again

Umami Analytics

  • Type: Optional (requires consent)
  • Purpose: Privacy-focused analytics to help us understand site usage
  • Note: Umami does not use cookies itself, but the analytics script is only loaded with your consent

Essential vs Optional

Essential cookies are required for the site to function properly (sign-in, security). These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Optional cookies/scripts (analytics) are only loaded if you click "Accept All" on the consent banner. You can choose "Essential Only" to browse without any optional tracking.

Managing Cookies

You can manage your cookie preferences through our consent banner (shown on your first visit) or by clearing your browser's cookies and localStorage. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.

Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe payment processing occurs on Stripe's own domain and does not set cookies on our site. Google authentication is handled via a redirect flow that does not embed third-party cookies.
